The War of 1812 signified the end of Colonial America, and firmly announced to the world that his new Republic could stand on its own. Fought on American soil between the United States and Britain, the War was also one of the strangest wars in history. This production examines the disorganized battles of that strange war, and looks at such factors as the Napoleonic Wars, the Embargo Act, and the Treaty of Ghent.
