Environmental Science: Our Ozone Blanket
The Wonders of Earth Science series covers subjects from the Earth‰۪s Interior, Mineralogy, Meteorology, Energy, Glaciers to Understanding Earthquakes and the Ozone Blanket. Students will develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Earth Science and work their way up to more complex subjects. This program provides a lesson in scientific investigation as well as our planet‰۪s atmosphere. Discover how scientists determined that CFC‰۪s were the cause of a hole discovered in our protective ozone blanket and how scientists, engineers and manufacturers worked together to prevent further damage to the atmosphere until ozone friendly substitutes for CFC‰۪s could be developed. Includes suggestions for careers in this field of study.
