Calculus Tutor: Chain Rule
Calculus essentially takes the fundamentals of algebra and extends them to include rates of change between quantities. The concepts are taught entirely through step-by-step example problems of increasing difficulty. It works by introducing each new concept in an easy to understand way and using example problems that are worked out step-by-step and line-by-line to completion. Teaches students how to use the chain rule of calculus to take derivatives of more complex functions. The chain rule is useful when the problem contains functions that are nested within one another. This is known as a composite function. Several problems are worked to reinforce the proper use of the chain rule.
