Knowing the genre we’re reading has an enormous influence on how we read it. The Song of Solomon (commonly referred to as “The Song of Songs”) is a work of poetry. Each weekly study takes women verse by verse through the Song of Solomon, beginning with an introduction to be done on Sundays, followed by five days of studying Scripture and making pertinent life applications along the way. The weekly studies are concluded with fitting devotional readings to be read on Saturdays.
