Calculus Tutor: Related Rates

Calculus essentially takes the fundamentals of algebra and extends them to include rates of change between quantities. The concepts are taught entirely through step-by-step example problems of increasing difficulty. It works by introducing each new concept in an easy to understand way and using example problems that are worked out step-by-step and line-by-line to completion. This lesson teaches students how to solve related rates problems in Calculus. These types of problems are usually word problems that involve two or more quantities that are changing with respect to one another. The student is shown how to extract the relevant information from the problem, set the problem up, and apply the rules of Calculus to solve the problems.
