Calculus Tutor: Integration By Parts
Calculus essentially takes the fundamentals of algebra and extends them to include rates of change between quantities. The concepts are taught entirely through step-by-step example problems of increasing difficulty. It works by introducing each new concept in an easy to understand way and using example problems that are worked out step-by-step and line-by-line to completion. This lesson introduces students to the technique of integration known as integration by parts. The student is taught how to recognize when a problem could be solved using this technique of integration. A detailed explanation of how to choose the proper substitution is provided to the student, along with many example problems to reinforce the concepts.
